The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading all business activities within an assigned multistate territory, ensuring annual orders, sales, service revenue, and new business development goals are achieved. This role develops and executes business strategies, builds strong customer relationships, and drives yearoveryear growth for the organization.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute business plans to achieve annual orders, sales, and service revenue goals.
Drive yearoveryear growth across the assigned territory.
Identify and develop new customers and new business opportunities.
Build and expand key and strategic customer accounts, including achieving singlesource positions and increased market share.
Manage relationships with customers at all levels.
Communicate voice of customer insights and local market needs to management.
Maintain an active opportunity pipeline to support longterm growth.
Update Salesforce weekly with accurate and detailed information.
Submit monthly business forecasts and weekly reports as required.
Deliver business presentations at internal meetings, customer meetings, trade shows, seminars, and conferences.
Provide ongoing market research, pricing analysis, and competitive analysis.
Support pricing strategies, including price increases, while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Ensure all orders, contracts, agreements, and business transactions comply with company policies, regulatory standards, and U.S. laws.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the business to win opportunities.
Travel extensively within the assigned territory; international travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline (preferred).
Minimum of 6 years of sales experience within a technologyfocused organization.
Strong organizational, timemanagement, and followup skills.
Demonstrated success in growing business as a technical sales professional.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong presentation skills in English.
Experience using Salesforce (preferred).
Ability to travel extensively.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Electron Microscopy, Life Sciences, Semiconductor industries, or Vibration Control.
Experience selling capital equipment.
Understanding of marketing processes, including market research, pricing, and competitive analysis.
Proven ability to close complex deals.

Salary Maximum: $100,000
